Cemented carbide is an alloy with hard compounds such as tungsten carbide powder as the hard phase and cobalt, nickel and other metals as the bonding phase, with high hardness, good toughness, good wear resistance, good heat resistance, strong corrosion resistance, etc. It is widely used in machinery, automobiles, electronics and other fields. Its main applications 3 categories:
1. Cutting tools. The amount of Tungsten carbide used for cutting tools in China accounts for about 1/3 of the total cemented carbide production value. Our Carbide burr blanks and rods are for cutting tools.
2. Impact Resistant Tools. Tungsten carbide has the advantages of high hardness, high strength, good toughness, etc., and it is widely used to manufacture tools such as rock drill bits, coal picker, and impact drills for the building materials industry.
3.Wear-resistant Parts. Tungsten carbide is used to manufacture wear-resistant parts including molds, studs and blocks for HPGR, rocket nozzles, tire skid spikes, rotary sealing rings, grinder arbors, bearings, etc.
