Honored as "Industrial Teeth", tungsten cobalt carbide is mainly used to make cutting tools, mining tools, molds, structural parts, wear parts and cavity, with good performance of high pressure and temperature resistance. It has been widely used in the fields of military industry, space flight and aviation, machining,metallurgy, petroleum, drilling,mining tools, tunnel engineering,electronic communications and measurement instruments.
How is tungsten cobalt carbide produced?
Production process of tungsten cobalt carbide:
1, Material Batching: mix WC and Co with other ingredients;
2, Wet Milling: Add carbide balls for ball milling;
3, Spray Drying&Granulation:For Ready-to-press powder;
4, Pressing&Forming: Powder pressed in a die, to a designed shape and size;
5, Sintering: Sintering in a HIP furnace.
6, Machining&Packing: Sandblasting, precision grinding and passivizing(as per technical requirement).
